Terms of Service

By creating an account on VitamCV, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Maxime Morellon (individual operator of VitamCV). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not create an account or use the service. By accepting these Terms, you also consent to the AI processing of your personal data as described in Section 5 below and in our Privacy Policy.

VitamCV is an AI-powered CV builder that provides:

• AI coaching conversations: An intelligent dialogue that helps you articulate your professional experience, surface hidden skills, and optimize your CV content.
• ATS optimization: Keyword analysis and scoring to help your CV pass Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Document generation: Creation of professional CV documents in PDF and DOCX formats.
• Job-specific tailoring: CV optimization targeted at specific job postings.

The service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or improved at any time without prior notice.

To use VitamCV, you must create a personal account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and truthful information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Each person may only maintain one account.

VitamCV operates on a credit-based system:

• First CV free: Your first complete CV generation is free, with no credit card required.
• Credit packs: Additional generations require credits, purchased as one-time credit packs (not subscriptions) at the prices displayed on our pricing page.
• Payment processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. VitamCV never stores your payment card information.
• Non-refundable credits: Credits that have been used for document generation are non-refundable. Unused credits remain available indefinitely and do not expire.
• Refund policy: If you experience a technical issue preventing document generation, contact us at contact@vitamcv.com and we will either resolve the issue or credit your account.

Prices are displayed in Euros and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to modify pricing for future credit pack purchases, but purchased credits will always retain their value.

By using VitamCV, you expressly consent to the AI processing of your personal data for CV creation and optimization. This is a core part of how the service works. Specifically, you consent to:

• Your CV profile data (experience, education, skills) being analyzed by AI to generate coaching insights and optimized CV content.
• Your chat conversations being processed by AI to provide personalized coaching responses.
• Your data being sent to our AI providers (OpenAI and/or Anthropic) under data processing agreements that prohibit training on your data.
• AI-generated suggestions being incorporated into your CV documents.

This consent is necessary to provide the service. If you do not consent to AI processing, you should not use VitamCV. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account, which will permanently remove all your data. For full details on how we process your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to use VitamCV to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your CV.
• Generate CVs for purposes other than legitimate job applications.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the AI prompts or algorithms.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the service.
• Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by French law:

• VitamCV is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that your CV will result in job interviews or employment.
• ATS scores are estimates based on keyword analysis and do not guarantee passage through any specific ATS system.
• AI-generated content should be reviewed by you for accuracy before use.
• Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of VitamCV shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for credit packs in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion:

• All your personal data, CV profiles, chat conversations, and generated documents will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Unused credits will be forfeited and are non-refundable upon account deletion.
• Payment records will be retained for the legally required period for accounting purposes.

We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms of Service, with notice where practicable.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of VitamCV shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, where applicable.

We may modify these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the application at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of VitamCV after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account before the effective date.
